How To Play Roulette
There are a total of eight different bets available on a roulette table. Each type of bet has a different pay off rate and covers different amounts of numbers. The short lines of three numbers each are called rows on the board, while the longer lines, each holding twelve, are called columns.
The first five types of bets are all made on the numbered space or on the lines between them and are called inside bets, while the last three types are made on the special boxes below and to the left of the board and are called outside bets.
After your bets have been places the wheel spins and the ball will eventually come to a stop in one of the numbered slots. At this point all winning bets are paid and all losing bets are collected by the casino

Different Types Of Roulette Tables
There are two main varieties of roulette. These are single zero (0) and double zero (0 and 00). Single zero roulette is often called European or French Roulette.
From a players perspective you should always look to play on single zero tables. The reason for this is that the odds are much better with just one less number (the double zero) on the wheel. All recommended casinos at Best Casino Guide have at least one single zero game.
